Dear Colleagues,

We are happy to inform you that a joint congress (the 4th annual meeting of the EORTC PathoBiology group and the 1st International Multidisciplinary Cancer Research Congress) has been set in progress.

This joint congress is aiming to bring all the cancer research-related disciplines together and discuss recent achievements in the field of TRANSLATIONAL ONCOLOGY. Therefore, the main theme is the molecular basis of early diagnosis and tailored - treatment of cancer (personalized chemotherapy), and their implications in cancer clinics.

The integrated behavior of all disciplines in diagnosis and treatment of cancer is undoubtedly the key to successful management of cancer. Moreover, new fields such as pharmocogenomics, metabolomics etc. are also rapidly taking their place in the clinics.

This joint congress will be held in an enchanting and historical city named Antalya, also called the Turkish Riviera, situated in the south of Turkey, on 21-24, May 2009

We are warmly welcoming all basic cancer researchers and clinicians to attend this joint meeting in a delightful seaside-5 Star Holiday Resort.
